FastGlow Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
ZanshinLab (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This document explains what data is involved when you use FastGlow, how it is handled, and what third-party services interact with the App. We do not collect, store, or process any personal information on our own servers. FastGlow is a fully offline application.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
FastGlow stores the following data exclusively on your device using your browser’s local storage (localStorage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server operated by ZanshinLab.
- Fasting timer state (active/inactive, start time, selected protocol, custom duration)
- Fasting history — last 20 entries (date, duration, protocol, biological stage reached)
- Mood logs per fast (energy level, mental clarity, hunger — selected via emoji buttons)
- Fasting streak counter and date of last completed fast
- Daily journal notes (free-text, max 30 entries, max 200 characters each)
- Weight log entries (date and value in kg, max 90 entries)
- Today’s daily tip index and display date
3. Data We Do Not Collect
ZanshinLab does not collect, access, or store any of the following:
- Your name, email address, phone number, or any account credentials
- Your location or GPS data
- Your contacts, calendar, camera, or microphone
- Health data from Google Fit or any other health platform
- Any analytics or usage telemetry from within the app itself
4. Advertising — Google AdMob
FastGlow displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC. AdMob serves interstitial advertisements at specific moments within the App.
What AdMob collects: Google AdMob may collect and use the following data from your device to serve and measure advertisements:
- Advertising ID (Android Ad ID) — a resettable identifier used to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads
- Approximate device information (device model, OS version, screen size)
- IP address (used to determine approximate country/region for ad targeting)
- Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
This data is collected and processed by Google LLC in accordance with their own Privacy Policy. ZanshinLab does not receive or store any of this data.

Opt out of personalized ads: On your Android device, go to Settings → Google → Ads → Delete advertising ID (Android 12+) or Opt out of Ads Personalization (earlier versions). You can also reset your Advertising ID at any time from the same menu.
5. Third-Party Services Summary
No other third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporters, or social media integrations are included in this App.
6. Data Storage & Security
All App data (fasting history, weight entries, journal notes, mood logs) is stored exclusively in localStorage on your device. This data:
- Is never transmitted to any server operated by ZanshinLab
- Is never shared with any third party (other than the AdMob data described in Section 4)
- Is deleted automatically when you uninstall the App or clear the App’s storage via your device settings
- Is accessible only by the App itself on your device
7. Children’s Privacy
FastGlow is not directed at children under the age of 13 and is not designed to appeal to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided personal information through this App, please contact us at the email address below. The App is intended for users aged 13 and older. Per our Google Play content settings, this App targets users aged 13 and above and does not appeal to children.
8. Permissions
FastGlow does not request any sensitive Android permissions. The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, files, or health data.
The only system capability used by the App itself is device localStorage for saving your fasting and health data locally. AdMob may access the Advertising ID as described in Section 4.
9. Your Rights & Data Deletion
Because all App data is stored locally on your device and ZanshinLab has no access to it, you have full control at all times:
- Delete all App data: Go to Settings → Apps → FastGlow → Clear Data on your Android device
- Delete the App entirely: Uninstall the App from your device — this removes all locally stored data permanently
- Reset Advertising ID: Manage via Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App or applicable regulations. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date at the top. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
