Doseglow Privacy Policy
1. Introduction
ZanshinLab ("we," "our," or "us") built DoseGlow: Medication Reminder as a free Android application. This Privacy Policy explains how our app handles any data in connection with your use of the Service.
By using DoseGlow, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the application.
2. Data We Collect
DoseGlow does not collect personal information. The application is fully offline and does not require account registration, login, or any form of identity verification.
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Medication list: Names, doses, schedules, and colors you enter
- Dose logs: Records of which doses were marked as taken or missed, keyed by date
- Streak data: Your current and best adherence streak counters
- App install date: The date you first opened the application
- Preference flags: Whether certain one-time prompts have been shown
All of the above is stored using your device's standard localStorage mechanism. This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server controlled by ZanshinLab.
3. How Your Data Is Stored
- Data is stored locally and privately on your phone
- No data is uploaded to any server
- No cloud synchronization occurs
- Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data permanently
4. Third-Party Services
4a. AdMob (Google LLC)
DoseGlow uses Google AdMob to display interstitial advertisements. AdMob may collect certain information to serve relevant ads, including:
- Device advertising ID (IDFA / GAID)
- Device type, operating system version
- IP address and approximate location
- Ad interaction data
This data collection is managed entirely by Google AdMob and is subject to Google's Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

4b. Andromo Platform
DoseGlow is built on the Andromo app publishing platform. Andromo wraps our web application in an Android container and may collect standard analytics data about app sessions. For more information: andromo.com/privacy-policy
5. Permissions Used
- INTERNET: Required for AdMob to load and display advertisements
- ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required by AdMob to check network availability
- VIBRATE: Used for in-app reminder vibration feedback
We do not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or any sensitive device resources.
6. Children's Privacy
DoseGlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13. Since our application collects no personal information from any user, there is no specific risk related to children's data.
7. Data Security
Since DoseGlow stores all data locally on your device and does not transmit any information to external servers, your medication data is as secure as your device itself. We recommend using your device's built-in screen lock and encryption features to protect your personal data.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the application following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
