This Privacy Policy describes how ZanshinLab ("we", "us", or "our") handles information in connection with the Gymless: Home Workout & Fitness mobile application ("the App"), available on Google Play.
By downloading or using Gymless, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Information collected directly by us
None. Gymless does not require account registration, does not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other personal information. All workout data (streaks, completed workouts, progress) is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted to our servers.
Information collected automatically by third parties
The App integrates Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may automatically collect the following information:
- Advertising ID (Google Advertising ID / GAID)
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- IP address (used to determine general location / country)
- App interaction data (ad impressions, clicks)
- Time zone and language settings
- Coarse location (country/region level only, derived from IP)
3. Google AdMob & Advertising
Gymless uses Google AdMob, an advertising service provided by Google LLC. AdMob may use the data listed above to serve personalized or non-personalized advertisements.
Personalized vs. Non-Personalized Ads
Google AdMob may display personalized ads based on your interests and browsing behavior, or non-personalized ads that are not based on your profile. Users in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent dialog (as required by GDPR) before personalized ads are displayed.

Google's collection and use of data through AdMob is governed by Google's own Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review it:
Opt-Out of Personalized Advertising
You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time:
- Android: Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization"

4. How We Use Information
ZanshinLab does not use any personal information because we do not collect any.
Workout progress data (streaks, completed workouts, calories, achievements) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is not backed up to any cloud service by us
- Can be deleted at any time by clearing the App's data or uninstalling the App
Google AdMob uses collected data to display relevant advertisements and to measure ad performance. This is governed entirely by Google's policies.
5. Data Sharing
ZanshinLab does not sell, trade, rent, or share personal information with any third parties, because we do not collect any.
The only third party involved in data processing is:
- Google LLC (AdMob) — for advertising purposes only. Google processes data according to its own Privacy Policy and applicable laws.
We may disclose information if required by law or legal process, but since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to disclose beyond what AdMob independently collects.
6. Data Storage & Security
All workout-related data in Gymless is stored locally on your device using the device's internal storage (localStorage / SharedPreferences). We do not operate any servers that store your data.
Because we store no data on external servers, there is no risk of a server-side data breach affecting your information. The security of your device is governed by your device's operating system and your personal security practices.
If you uninstall the App or clear its data from your Android settings, all locally stored progress will be permanently deleted.
7. Children's Privacy
Gymless is rated Everyone on Google Play and is suitable for all ages. However, the App is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we collect no personal information from any users, this extends to children as well.
Regarding advertising: AdMob is configured to serve ads appropriate for general audiences. We do not use interest-based profiling for users identified as minors.

California Users (CCPA)
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. ZanshinLab does not sell personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For significant changes that affect how we handle data, we will notify users through an in-app notice or by updating the App's store listing.
