Brain Quiz: Trivia Master Privacy Policy
Brain Quiz: Trivia Master ("the App") is a trivia quiz application developed by ZanshinLab. This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Short version: The App stores all your game data (scores, streaks, XP) only on your device. We never see it. Our ad partner Google AdMob may collect limited technical data to show ads.
Brain Quiz: Trivia Master provides:
- Daily Quiz — 10 new trivia questions every day across 4 categories
- Practice Mode — unlimited questions by category (History, Science, Pop Culture, Sports)
- Blitz Mode — 60-second timed challenge
- XP progression system with 10 levels
- Daily streak tracking
- Wrong Answers Review — learn from your mistakes
- Score sharing via Android share sheet
All gameplay data (scores, streaks, XP, level, accuracy) is stored exclusively on your device. ZanshinLab has no access to this data.
ZanshinLab does not directly collect any personal information.
However, our advertising partner Google AdMob may automatically collect the following data to display advertisements:
- Android Advertising ID (a resettable device identifier)
- Approximate IP address (used to determine general location for ad targeting)
- Device type, model, and operating system version
- App usage and interaction data
- Network connection type
This data is collected by Google AdMob and governed by Google's own Privacy Policy.
The App displays advertisements served by Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob uses collected data to show relevant ads. You may see personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your device settings.
To opt out of personalized advertising on your Android device:
- Go to Settings → Google → Ads
- Enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization"
- Or reset your Advertising ID from the same menu
All game progress data — including quiz scores, daily streaks, XP points, level, and accuracy statistics — is stored locally on your device only, using your device's standard app storage.
Important: If you uninstall the App, all locally stored game data will be permanently deleted. There is no cloud backup.
ZanshinLab does not operate any servers that store user data. We do not have access to your game progress, scores, or any other information stored by the App.
Brain Quiz: Trivia Master is designed for users aged 13 and older. The App contains general knowledge trivia content suitable for teenagers and adults.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has used the App in a way that collected personal data, please contact us at vince.reuben13@gmail.com and we will take appropriate action.
The App includes an optional feature that allows you to share your quiz results via the Android share sheet. When you use this feature:
- A text message is generated containing your score, streak count, and game mode
- You choose which app to share it with (WhatsApp, SMS, email, etc.)
- ZanshinLab does not receive or store any data from this action
- The receiving app's own privacy policy applies to shared content
Score sharing is entirely optional and user-initiated.
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding personal data collected by our advertising partners. These include:
- The right to opt out of personalized advertising
- The right to reset your Android Advertising ID
- The right to request information about data collected by Google AdMob
For data collected by Google AdMob, please contact Google directly or visit myaccount.google.com to manage your data preferences.
To delete all App data, simply uninstall the App from your device.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. When we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
